Pellicle supports a pick/reject workflow for culling your photos. Flags are written to sidecar files so they carry across to your editing tools.
These work in both the grid view and the detail view. In the grid, they apply to all selected photos.
When you flag a photo, Pellicle writes the flag to a sidecar file alongside the original image. The sidecar format is configurable in Settings:
xmpDM:pick and xmpDM:good fields. For JPEG files, flags are also written directly into the file's EXIF metadata.
Press ⌫ (Backspace) in the grid to move selected photos to the bin. In the bin view, pressing ⌫ permanently deletes them from disk.
Press [ to rotate counterclockwise and ] to rotate clockwise. Rotation is written to the sidecar file and applied non-destructively — the original image data is never modified.
